Made with only the best quality, Italian leather. Sourced from the Gruppo Mastrotto tannery, whose environmentally-conscious leather tanning procedures have consistently been gold-rated by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Gruppo Mastrotto is carbon neutral and their leather is certified biobased by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Featuring two different leather types and a variety of colours, you have a multitude of options when it comes to the 173 Vertical Sling. For those who prefer a clean and tailored look, nappa leather is a great choice with its softer and smooth finish. If you like a more rugged look, pebbled leather has a textured and authentic touch for a different look.
The full grain leather is top notch. It feels and smells great. Really loving the green color chosen.
The size is just perfect for travel and edc, phones, tissues, AirPod, cardholder and a Ricoh GR/ Osmo pocket. It’s just big enough for all the essentials while still being compact.
I wish the bag would come with the silver metal buckle like they did before tho. It’s a better contrast, more stylish and doesn’t show scratches as much
The 173 Vertical Sling is an excellent EDC bag with a beautiful design and elegant look. Materials and workmanship are top notch with great attention to detail. To make best use of the bag I looked for ways to maximize the vertical aspect. In the outer pocket I have a passport size notebook and a small Rocketbook note pad, along with a Covid mask and a couple of Glide flossers. This pocket can also be used for a phone but I prefer to carry mine in my pants or jacket pocket. Inside the main compartment, on the side that faces your body I first loaded a power bank for charging my phone and on top of that 2 camera batteries which make a shelf on top of which I set my Leica C-Lux camera standing vertically for quick removal. Next to it is a small tube of hand sanitizer, a pill container, and a small container of hand moisturizer. On each side of this inner pocket is a pen for each of the notepads, and a tubular lens cleaner brush. In the small pockets on the outside of this rear inner pocket is a small Buck multitool and a extra camera memory card. On the outside inner pocket is a Grams28 108 card file, a card like mini phone tripod, a lens cloth, a few business cards, below which is an extra button battery and an Apple Air Tag. In the uppermost pocket is my Fjorden bluetooth controller for my phone camera. I placed this high up opposite my Leica as I am able to pull both out quickly without fully opening the main pocket. I already have the City Sling but was looking for a smaller every day carry bag. I decided to order the 173 Vertical Sling and I love it.
The size is perfect for me. My keys, my card holder, smartphone and a compact camera (Fujifilm X-T50 with pancake lens) fits well into the bag.

Love this great looking sling bag. Not only does it look great but it also does the job for me and then some. I love the compartments to make everything I carry have there own spot which make it very easy when I want to grab something really quick. And the front pocket is perfect for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I would recommend 173 vertical Sling bag to anyone who wants something not to big to do go there errand or just hang out. Did I mention it looks good with no matter what you were for the day.

Almost everything I have as edc is stored inside this sling bag. If I have to complain about one thing, it’s the paint on the buckle that tends to easily wear off after 14 uses. Small complaint, but could be improved
