172 Camera Sling

The 172 Camera Sling is one of those rare bags that feels like it was designed with photographers like me in mind. In black pebbled leather, it carries the same elegance and refinement as the rest of the GRAMS28 lineup, but it stands out because of how versatile and eye-catching it is. The craftsmanship is bar none, the attention to detail is sharp, and it manages to look both sleek and functional at the same time.

For everyday use, it is just the right size for my Fujifilm X100VI with the Everyday Filter or with the TCL and WCL attachments, paired with a GRAMS28 Pebbled Leather Strap. On days I want a more deliberate setup, the 172 becomes the home for my Fujifilm X-E5 with the Sigma 17-40mm f1.8 Art, two extra NP-W126 batteries, a few SD cards, my Tor Knives Jank Shank S, the Grams28 102 Card Zip, a lens cleaning cloth, a flat hand sanitizer, and my AirPods Pro. That setup is very minimal and very light, yet it feels fully prepared.

It does not stop there. I have also used the sling with my Fujifilm X-H2, carrying it with a 23, 35, or 50mm lens attached. The internal compartmentalization makes it easy to arrange a body with any prime or internal zoom APS-C lens and still fit a couple of other primes, along with batteries, filters, and accessories. It adapts smoothly whether I want to keep things light or pack for a longer day.

The bag attracts attention, often drawing compliments when I am out shooting. That can feel like a curse when I am trying to stay incognito, but…

I like this bag a lot. It’s as good as I expected. It feels totally a premium product. The leather is of high quality. The only improvement area is about the front zip pocket which is a bit too small for camera battery or AirPod pro. The zip is too tight perhaps it’s brand new. I added the leather strap in matching blue color but have not used it yet. The look is just perfect.

Every time I take it out for a shoot, I'm bombarded with questions about the brand - it's that good! The bag is incredibly well-compartmentalised, allowing me to fit a surprising amount of gear while keeping everything organised and protected. Whether I'm heading out on a photoshoot or just running errands, the Grams28 camera bag is my go-to choice. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!
