179 Seeker Backpack

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this backpack because I already have another smaller bag from Grams28 and I thought it would be overkill. I was WRONG. I bought this bag for my recent trips to South Korea and Hong Kong and it is the perfect companion that carries everything I need it to and more. The only negative thing is that it's a bit on the heavier side from a normal EDC bag, but that's to be expected for the camera protection it brings. I really like the bag and happy I made the purchase. And as with all Grams28 products, it's worth the spend.

This is my 6th Grams(28) bag (besides 109, 154, 156, 131, 171) and I absolutely love all of them. I was eyeing the other backpacks for a while but they all missed something (eg. outer bottle holder). Finally, the 179 brought everything together I wanted. Since I know the quality and functionality of Grams(28) I pulled the trigger as soon as it came out together with the Chest Pouch. And it turned out to be even better than I thought. Touch and feel is the ultimate luxury. Functionality is so well thought through in every little detail, eg. the waterproof zippers, the expandable outside bottle/umbrella/tripod holder, the Apple AirTag holder, and countless little compartments with zippers for flat and more bulky items. I put together some quick impressions in the attached video clip. The only caveat might be the weight, but the quality of the leather gives such a nice feeling and the sturdiness of the leather holds the shape, makes it stand and not fall over; lightweight backpacks can’t do that.
